Digital Fiction Curios is a unique digital archive/interactive experience for PC and Virtual Reality. The project houses works of electronic literature created in Flash nearly two decades ago by artists Andy Campbell and Judi Alston of Dreaming MethodsOne to One Development Trust‘s award-winning in-house studio.

After a hundreds of hours in the making, Curios is finally released! Given the current Coronavirus situation we’ve made the project available to download for free – or ‘pay what you feel’. Visit http://www.digitalfiction.co.uk for the full run-down on what the project is about and how it works, or visit our Dreaming Methods Itch.io page for Curios direct at https://dreamingmethods.itch.io/digital-fiction-curios/

Curios is an immersive experience that will appeal to anyone interested in or studying electronic literature, digital art, gaming, digital curation, or anyone who is simply looking for a much-need teleport to a magical alternate reality.

It’s designed for VR but also works in ‘VR emulator mode’ on PC and Windows touch screens (currently experimental).

From fragments of words held in glass bottles to sprawling apocalyptic dreamscapes, Curios offers an immersive glimpse into Dreaming Methods’ 20-year legacy of electronic literature: a signature world of dream-inspired narratives, living texts and lost realities.
